On today’s show, I shared five different kinds of emotional, psychological and spiritual wounds that many believers face, even as we struggle to serve as good leaders and servants in the Body of Christ. Have a listen!
Knowing that so many believers are struggling with these types of wounds, we are left with some questions.
* How can we build the Kingdom of God, while simultaneously slowing down to attend to the ongoing needs of hurting people?
*Are there particular types of problems that give rise to particular types of hurts? If so, how can we attack those problems at the root?
*What might help us all to be more sensitive to the wounded people around us–people we may not have realized were hurting in the past?
*The church is certainly not all bad, right? What are some wonderful and amazing things that churches have done to help bring healing to those who are wounded?
I would love to hear your thoughts on these! Please post in the comments below.
